They did the job right the first time! (Not common in my experience).

R&E Heating did an amazing job when they replaced my oil tank. I got four quotes and each of the other places wanted to demolish my wall to do the job. R&E gave me the option of using a different style oil tank that was the same capacity but had a smaller footprint. It also had a much better rating. The tank itself was more expensive, but the total quote was LESS than anyone else! Two men arrived on time and spent all day doing the job but did not have to do any demolition of my walls or a tub sink I have downstairs. It seems the other companies wanted to just tear out the wall (or remove the sink, which was another option I was given) so they could get the job done quickly and be on their way to the next job. R&E took the time to do the job right, even though it was labor intensive. They have great pride in their workmanship. The city came to look at the work and also proclaimed what a nice job they had done, so its not just me! They are very professional and took the time to ensure that everything was up to code. They pulled the permit and made sure to fulfill those requirements, which is a step a lot of companies neglect.

This has become my place of service after my interactions with them. My steam heat boiler cracked after running all night and running out of water. In the freezing cold, while everyone other mainstream company had a long list of priorities, I found this local company who after hearing what happened, made me their priority. Me and my family had to leave for the house for a few days. In the meantime Matt, one of the owners helped me find the right boiler to buy which was located out in New Haven and help me get it. Once we got it back to Bristol, Matt cleared his schedule for a complete install.
When he gave me my bill I was shocked at the number coming in far less then the estimates I was getting when I called around to the bigger companies and explained my issue.
For two weeks, Matt kept up close contact making sure the install was working properly and set me up with a cleaning date at the proper time.
Fast forward a few years to current times, as Matt just left my home. It's been 10 degrees outside and being in a single zone home, my boiler was running all day and drained the rest of my oil. I put some diesel in last night but still couldn't get the system to fire and bright and early this morning it was Matt at my door to bleed the system and get it going again. A little football talk to catch up with my now friend, is always fun.
Here is what I like, when I need R&E for a cleaning or emergency repair it "honestly" feels like I've called my friend who knows how to do this come to come help me out. You just don't find them like that nowadays.

I’ve used R &E for years now. I recently moved and was thrilled to know they work on gas furnaces. We ended up having a “whole” new system installed: a/c, burner, hot water tank, humidifier, air purifier and a four inch thick filter. They did all of this in 2 days! Both days they worked over 9 hours! Matt made sure we didn’t miss a night of air conditioning (it was oppressive out—he’s so thoughtful). Matt and his team are amazing! Cannot say enough, and highly recommend to everyone! N

This was the ONLY hvac company that could figure out my ac problem. After 17 years we finally have ac upstairs working properly! Even though I have a contract with my oil company for such problems I called upon R&E to get a second opinion and lo and behold they fixed it! These guys (whom I now refer to as geniuses) are the BEST and will never call upon anyone else to service my hvac problems. They have since replaced my oil burner. Great service. Had an issue with two leaky valves, I contacted Matt (owner) through Facebook, he was very polite, responsive and he assured me that he could have a tech out to my place at 8 AM, the tech was five minutes early, which was perfect. Punctuality is important to me since I had to adjust my work schedule accordingly.
The tech that showed up knew how to fix both issues right away, got to work and finished efficiently. Showed me the work and explained what the issues were and what he did to fix them.
Their rates are very affordable and I will be using them in the future for any more plumbing jobs I need done.

Definitely recommend!!! I have a multi family home and my tenant had an issue on a Sunday. I called Matt and he came over within the hour. Very nice, honest and fair. I also use them for regular maintenance but it’s nice to also have someone dependable in an emergency.

Dan from R&E came out yesterday to fix some issues with our furnace. He did a great job and was very helpful answering any questions i had. I also got a follow up later in the day to make sure everything was ok..i highly recommend these guys.. Great work and prices are very reasonable as well.

Our furnace went out and I contacted Matt and I told him what was going on with it. He came out and checked it out and replaced the part that it needed and it fired right up like new. Matt came to my house and was very professional. I would recommend him to everyone. If I have any more problems with it Matt will be the one I will call. He did a great job and very satisfied with r&e heating ( Matt ). Thank you again for the great service.

R&E came by after hours on a holiday weekend to take a look at my furnace. He had it repaired & ready to go in about 1/2 an hour! We are now toasty warm & all set for New Year’s Eve! ?

Two times R&E has come to our rescue! Once on the hottest days in 2016 for our broken AC and once again on December 23rd for our Water Heater!! Both times in a jam and Matt was more than accommodating! Due to timing and the task of the jobs that needed done, Matt and his partner took care of job effortlessly and within budget! Trust me, replacing a water heater two days before Christmas was NOT on the agenda! R&E is my go to for HVAC services, hands down!

My boiler was leaking water and needed it's yearly cleaning so I called R&E upon recommendation of my friend Stephanie. Matt fit me into his schedule that day and made the necessary repairs to get me through the weekend. He was also able to work with my busy schedule to fit in the cleaning and an additional part/seals that needed replacing. I would definitely recommend Matt and his company for your heating repair or general yearly service.

Amazing customer service. I had called for an urgent problem and they had come out as soon as they could (and we'll within the time from unlike some other places I have seen in the past). They had found the problem right away and explained the situation to me. I had a few questions and instead of giving me the run around, helped me out with everything I needed. I had them cover up the stickers on my furnace from the previous company because I am only going to call R & E heating and air conditioning from now on. Great people, great service and very reasonable prices. Best place around here!!!
